Made with cacao from our home department of Santander, Colombia, this bar pairs the bright, tangy sweetness of freeze-dried uchuva (goldenberry) with the savory depth of oregano-infused cocoa butter in rich dark chocolate.
Uchuva is a beloved Colombian fruit, and one of Luis’ favorites. The oregano recalls the herbal remedies and natural living that shaped life in rural Colombia and the way Don Luis cared for his family. Together, they evoke memories of fields, healing hands, and the resilience of family.

 

“Abrazo Dulce” — 62% Dark Milk Chocolate with Panela Toffee & Sea Salt

Creamy and rich, this bar is made with our dark milk chocolate and studded with golden shards of panela toffee, then topped with salt. Aguapanela, a hot drink made from unrefined cane sugar (aka Panela), is a daily staple in Colombia. Here, we take it somewhere it rarely goes by making it into a buttery toffee, representing the sweetness of family memories. The salt scattered across the surface is a quiet symbol of the tears shed during his illness. Together, they remind us that even in hardship, sweetness endures.
